PROJECT 1 - PRESIDENTS STUDY
INTRODUCTION
President study is one of the basic studies on the design, each student should do research before making a holistic design for getting a strong emphasis on a well-known architect. With a president study, it can encourage the development of study design ideas and expose students to a better idea.
OBJECTIVES
- Students being exposed to the existing dominant building.
- Students being able to make researh pertaining to the design and technical aspect of a building.
- Students being able to list down the prominent architect locally and internationally
- Students being able to develop space planning, design skill and architectural language based on their case studies
Your research must cover all the aspect of design including design approach, identity and ideology and the architect. Then, you are required to select ONE dominant building that the architect has design in detail and elaborate more on the building design (space function, circulation,structure & building material). Student also are required to produce an A2 size board consists of the case study of the selected architect.
SUBMISSION
All the complete drawing should be submit on 17/12/2010 before 4pm. Presentation will be on 20/12/2010.
